Java Developer (Spring / Backend Development)

We are looking for a Java Developer to support application development, enhancement, and maintenance initiatives within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced project delivery setting.

• Working Location: Central
• Salary Package: Up to $7,000 (basic) + AWS + VB
• Job Type: Perm

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java technologies.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Spring / Spring Boot framework.
• Perform SQL development, database queries, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Support system integration, testing, deployment, and production issue resolution.
• Work closely with business users, project managers, and technical teams to gather and analyse requirements.
• Troubleshoot application defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in Java development with Spring / Spring Boot framework.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience in RESTful API development and system integration.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, JIRA, or similar development tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms or microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
