Our semiconductor client is seeking SOC Verification Engineers to join their VLSI team in Singapore. This role is well‑suited for academically strong fresh graduates or engineers with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience who are keen to build a long‑term career in pre‑silicon SOC verification.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre‑silicon RTL verification of block, IP, subsystem, and SOC designs under guidance
- Assist in developing reusable SV‑UVM testbenches and verification environments
- Study design specifications and support the creation of verification plans and test scenarios
- Develop and execute directed and constrained‑random test cases
- Run simulations, analyze results, and debug test failures to identify root causes
- Support regression testing and coverage collection, tracking verification progress
- Collaborate with Design, Architecture, Validation, and Software teams during issue resolution
- Learn and apply industry best‑practice verification methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in SOC / RTL verification is advantageous
- Strong fundamentals in digital design, computer architecture, and verification concepts
- Basic working knowledge of SystemVerilog; UVM exposure is a strong plus
- Understanding of testbenches, assertions, coverage, and simulation concepts
- Exposure (academic or internship level) to interfaces such as AXI, AHB, PCIe, UART, I2C, SPI
- Basic programming or scripting skills (C/C++, Python, or Perl) are a plus
- Strong learning mindset, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Internship or project experience in VLSI or SOC verification
- Familiarity with tools such as VCS, Xcelium, or Verdi
- Coursework or projects involving DDR, SerDes, DSP, WiFi, or communication systems
- Experience working in Linux‑based verification environments
