NOC Engineer (Early Morning Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Senior NOC Engineer to join a global, high‑performance Network Operations Center supporting latency‑sensitive trading platforms. This is a hands‑on operational engineering role focused on network reliability, real‑time monitoring, customer connectivity, and rapid incident response across a distributed global environment.

The role combines deep networking fundamentals with modern automation and AI‑assisted tooling. You will act as a senior escalation point, work closely with internal engineering teams and external customers, and contribute to the evolution of a software‑driven, intelligence‑enabled NOC through Python, API‑based automation, and AI tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, onboard, and support customer network connectivity across global data centers
• Monitor and troubleshoot real‑time network and trading infrastructure issues
• Lead escalation and advanced troubleshooting for complex incidents
• Develop and maintain automation and AI‑assisted operational tooling
• Perform packet‑level analysis for market data and connectivity investigations

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands‑on network operations or engineering experience (routing, BGP/OSPF, enterprise or low‑latency networks)
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS preferred), monitoring tools, and packet analysis
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, APIs; AI‑assisted tooling exposure preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a 24x7 production environment and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Willingness to work shift‑based schedules, including early starts and weekends, as part of a follow‑the‑sun model

This role operates on a 4x10 shift pattern with on‑call participation and supports global trading environments during extended market hours.
