Senior T24 Technical Architect

We are looking for a T24 Technical Architect with extensive experience in Temenos T24 (R23 and above) and TAFJ architecture to lead solution design, development, and delivery across complex banking platforms. This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive architectural decisions, provide hands-on expertise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design for T24 implementations and enhancements
• Review and govern architectural designs, ensuring adherence to standards, best practices, and scalability principles
• Provide hands-on leadership in analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex solutions
• Design and develop robust, scalable integrations and interfaces using IRIS, MQ, and related frameworks
• Collaborate effectively within a SAFe Agile environment to achieve delivery objectives
• Take ownership of production stability (RTB) by investigating and resolving critical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings, providing technical insights and progress updates
• Manage and mentor development teams, ensuring quality delivery and efficient resource utilisation
• Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Business teams to drive IT initiatives
• Ensure strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and project governance throughout the lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in design and development on Temenos T24 platforms
• Strong expertise in T24 R23 (or higher) and TAFJ R23 (or higher)
• Deep understanding of T24 COB and Services framework
• Experience in Integration Framework (IRIS), Outbox Event Streaming, MQ, and JBoss
• Hands-on experience with Temenos Unit Testing framework
• Proven experience in SWIFT messaging, STP processes, and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience in multi-company and multi-application server environments
• Proficiency in Design Studio, source code repositories, job schedulers, and SQL Developer
• Experience in T24 development across on-premises and cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts (SQL, indexing) and Linux scripting
• Experience in T24 upgrades, migrations, performance optimisation, and data archiving
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Tivoli, Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar platforms
• Good understanding of deployment architecture and infrastructure
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in the Private Banking and Wealth Management module is mandatory.
• Exposure to large-scale banking transformation programmes
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe delivery models
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
