Job Description

We are partnering with a government-linked/public sector client to hire a Data Engineer on a 2-year direct contract basis.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics support, and data integration projects within large-scale environments.

Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting data engineering and analytics initiatives, including data processing, integration, and delivery of structured datasets to support operational and business requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows
  • Perform data integration, transformation, and processing activities
  • Support data operations and analytics initiatives
  • Manage structured datasets and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on data delivery requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently
  • Support continuous improvement of data engineering processes and platforms

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in: Data Engineering Data Operations, Data Analytics, Support Data Integration
  • Hands-on experience working with structured datasets and data delivery processes
  • Proficient in: Python SQL Databricks (or equivalent Big Data / AI Analytics platforms)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Prior experience within public healthcare or public sector environments
