Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate Micron core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus
- Collecting requirements from customer requests
- Crafting, developing, debugging, documenting, testing, and deploying applications
- Collaborating with other developers on the team in world-wide
- Working closely with Business Operation Teams, Product and Application Development teams, and other internal customers during application development and deployment
- Training users on the use and maintenance of new applications
- Implementing 3rd party solutions and partnering with the IT Procurement representative to determine contracts, support requirements, training provided, etc.
- Evaluate the available software options. Co-work with the architect team to design a craft solution with high quality which is aligned to our IT roadmap. Be encouraged to work with team and leaders in a decision analysis. Collaborate with the Scrum Master to work out the estimated dev. time, resource constraints, etc... Complete unit testing. Participate with end users in integration and user acceptance testing. Document (technical specifications, test plans, deployment plans, etc.).
- Analyze business needs to identify the problem. Collaborate with others (Business Analysts, Product Owner, Project Managers...) to identify, clarify, and capture business requirements. Document AS-IS and TO-BE process flows. Ability on leading the project with team to delivery business values on-time
- Supporting operation cases to tackle the impacts in manufacturing. Provide 24x7 IT support for software issues, with arrangement (via on-line, on-call… model) when vital to lead to resolve worldwide case(s). Respond to customer or developer requests for assistance. Tackle issues independently and with other teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiar with OOP, C#, Angular JS, Javascript, RESTful APIs, Web technologies, Git Hub, Solace, OpenShift, MS-SQL, Unit Test, Linux is preferable.
- Proficient in system build, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cybersecurity principles, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficient English ability.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT engineering or a similar role. Proven experience in software development in the Semiconductor industry will be preferentially considered.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Proven track record of leading successful IT projects.
