Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in C++ Software Development, specializing in real-time and distributed systems. The role involves leading software engineering teams, driving system design and integration, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions, preferably within ATC, ATM, simulation, or related operational systems.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field;
- 5–10 years of C++ software development experience with strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++11/14/17+);
- Hands-on experience in multithreaded, real-time, and distributed systems;
- Strong understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design;
- Experience with Windows development, TCP/IP, UDP, and version control tools such as Git or SVN;
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in ATM, aviation, simulation, or radar systems;
- Familiarity with ASTERIX, AIXM, IWXXM, and distributed communication frameworks;
- Knowledge of Qt, Boost, virtualisation, and software testing methodologies;
- Experience in mission-critical environments and technical team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of C++ software engineers for development and system integration;
- Design and develop high-performance real-time and distributed systems;
- Define software architecture, standards, and participate in technical design reviews;
- Drive end-to-end SDLC, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance;
- Integrate software with ATM/simulation/surveillance systems and communication interfaces;
- Develop and troubleshoot network communication modules (TCP/IP, UDP, messaging middleware);
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders on requirements and solutions;
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and support testing, commissioning, and deployment.
