Linux Platform Operations Engineer

We are partnering with a leading financial services and trading technology company in Singapore that is looking to hire a Linux Platform Operations Engineer to join their high-performing infrastructure team.

This is a hands-on role supporting mission-critical trading environments and low-latency infrastructure across global platforms. You will work closely with Infrastructure, SRE, Engineering, and Security teams to manage and optimize Linux platforms in a highly available 24x7 environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and support Linux server infrastructure across trading environments

• Handle incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical systems

• Work on automation using Python and Shell scripting

• Support configuration management, patching, and platform upgrades

• Manage monitoring, observability, and system performance tuning

• Participate in infrastructure projects, DR testing, and on-call support rotations

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Linux infrastructure / platform engineering experience

• Strong understanding of Linux Kernel, networking, and system performance

• Experience with automation tools such as Python, Shell scripting, Salt/Puppet

• Exposure to cloud and container environments (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) is advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus

• Background supporting enterprise or trading environments is highly preferred
