Design Engineer (System Piping / Specialty Gas)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and review of AutoCAD 2D drawings to meet project and regulatory standards.
• Set and maintain drafting & BIM standards across projects, guiding design visualization.
• Supervise site surveys and ensure drawings are accurately updated.
• Align drafting needs with project managers and discipline leads to meet objectives.
• Mentor junior drafters by providing technical direction, training, and feedback.
• Manage engineering documents including version control, submissions, and filing.
• Improve drafting workflows by adopting new tools and methods for efficiency.
• Represent the drafting team in meetings to resolve technical issues.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks flexibly as project needs evolve.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in Bulk Gas / Specialty Gas / System Piping.
• Able to read site blueprints and 2D/3D drawings in detail.
• Strong communication skills.
