About the role
The Senior Architect will be responsible for taking conceptual designs through to detailed design, construction, commissioning and final handover. This role ensures that all architectural designs comply with local regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and project sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural work packages from design development through to project completion and handover
- Progress designs in accordance with established design checklists and quality standards
- Prepare tender documentation, including specifications, summaries of tender and schedules of rates
- Chair subcontractor coordination meetings and client progress meetings
- Coordinate with quality assurance and compliance teams to ensure alignment with project specifications
- Ensure site supervision teams are provided with current approved drawings and technical documentation
- Brief site teams on awarded scope, technical requirements and contractual revisions
- Assume Lead Architect responsibilities when required
- Mentor and develop junior architects and team members
- Support operational excellence initiatives, digitalisation, sustainability and knowledge-sharing programmes
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional architectural experience
- At least 2 years of experience on fast-track design and construction projects
- Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, sustainable energy or advanced manufacturing projects
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary project coordination
- Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations and authority submission requirements
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows
- Experience in staff management, mentoring and leadership

- BCA Green Mark Manager
