Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, regression, performance testing)
• Define test strategy, test plans, and timelines aligned with project delivery
• Coordinate with business users, developers, vendors, and project managers
• Manage UAT cycles, including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking
• Ensure proper test coverage for core insurance systems (policy admin, claims, underwriting, billing)
• Oversee defect management process and ensure timely resolution
• Drive test automation initiatives where applicable
• Provide status reporting to senior stakeholders and highlight risks/issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements in insurance

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2–3 years in a Test Manager / Lead role
• Strong experience in insurance domain (life insurance preferred; general insurance acceptable)
• Hands-on experience with core insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, claims systems)
• Experience managing SIT/UAT across large-scale projects
• Familiarity with Agile / Waterfall methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail)

Good to Have

• Exposure to insurance transformation projects (e.g., policy admin system migration)
• Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, etc.)
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in insurance (e.g., MAS guidelines in Singapore)
