Storage and Backup Engineer

We are looking for a Storage & Backup Engineer to support and manage enterprise storage and backup infrastructure. The candidate should have strong experience with Dell EMC block storage platforms, Veritas NetBackup, and Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support enterprise storage and backup infrastructure.
• Manage backup and recovery operations using NetBackup and Veeam.
• Perform storage provisioning, backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and restore activities.
• Support SAN environment, storage performance, and capacity management.
• Ensure backup success, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Work with infrastructure teams on system upgrades, migrations, and operational support.
• Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in 24x7 operational support when required.

Required Technical Skills:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC storage platforms PowerMax, PowerStore and Data Domain
• Hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup, Veeam Backup & Replication
• Hands-on experience with Cisco SAN switches
• Knowledge of Linux server environments.
• scripting and automation skill required
• Strong troubleshooting and support skills.
• Relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and high-availability infrastructure.
• ITIL Operational Process.
