Data Business Analyst (MNC, 1-Year Contract)

What You'll Do

• Implement and adhere to a comprehensive Data Governance framework that guarantees the accuracy, quality, and fitness of purpose for all collected and stored data.
• Drive data initiatives throughout the organisation by overseeing all aspects of data management activities, promoting global standards for governance and quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Data Management to design, deliver, and manage current and future data platforms and architecture within the market.
• Execute on the visualisation of complex datasets using advanced tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, and Tableau to facilitate effective data storytelling across regional functions.
• Champion the creation of reusable, scalable, and repeatable data outputs that empower stakeholders with reliable insights for operational effectiveness.
• Ensure key business units have timely access to trusted information that supports critical decision-making processes.
• Promote consistent usage of data by inspiring colleagues through clear communication and compelling visualisation techniques.
• Support the maintenance of modern enterprise data warehouses, big data solutions, and cloud platforms to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and adapt strategies in response to evolving business needs.
• Monitor emerging trends in data analytics technologies to recommend improvements that enhance organisational capabilities.

What You'll Need

• At least 5 years’ proven experience in data analytics roles with demonstrable expertise defining policies for data management including ownership of governance frameworks.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of modern enterprise data platforms such as Enterprise Data Warehouses, Big Data solutions, Cloud platforms as well as reporting tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau for effective visualisation and analysis of complex datasets.
• Experience working within agile teams supporting critical business functions in fast-changing environments.
• Experienced in project management and data architecture would be a plus.
