Sales Engineer (Industrial Equipment / Compressor) LT94
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales opportunities for industrial equipment solutions, including compressors and related systems
Identify new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers across industrial sectors
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders based on customer requirements
Provide technical recommendations and propose suitable solutions based on application needs (e.g. compressed air systems, energy efficiency considerations)
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, service, operations) to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical discussions to better understand project requirements
Monitor market trends and customer needs to support business development activities
Work closely with after-sales teams on service follow-ups, maintenance support, and customer retention
Job Requirement
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Relevant experience in engineering sales, industrial equipment sales, or technical support environment
Exposure or interest in compressors, rotating equipment, or industrial systems is advantageous
Basic understanding of industrial applications (e.g. manufacturing, marine, oil & gas, general industry)
Ability to interpret technical specifications or drawings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts or projects
