HPC System Engineer (Modern Memory/Linux) LT94
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop compute cluster architectures with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
Evaluate and validate hardware components such as CPUs, memory, storage, networking, and accelerators (e.g. GPUs)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and systems engineering) to support integration into overall system architecture
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design rationale, integration procedures, and diagnostic workflows
Participate in design reviews, system integration planning, and technical discussions to support project delivery
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Relevant experience in server or compute cluster hardware design environments
Experience in networking design (e.g. InfiniBand, Ethernet switching, port mapping, configuration)
Familiarity with memory technologies such as DDR4/DDR5, DIMM, LPDDR, and HBM
Exposure to Linux system administration and OS-level configuration (e.g. SUSE Linux or equivalent)
Understanding of system-level performance optimization and hardware-software interaction
Ability to communicate effectively and document technical information clearly
