Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop compute cluster architectures with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Evaluate and validate hardware components such as CPUs, memory, storage, networking, and accelerators (e.g. GPUs)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and systems engineering) to support integration into overall system architecture

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design rationale, integration procedures, and diagnostic workflows

  • Participate in design reviews, system integration planning, and technical discussions to support project delivery

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

  • Relevant experience in server or compute cluster hardware design environments

  • Experience in networking design (e.g. InfiniBand, Ethernet switching, port mapping, configuration)

  • Familiarity with memory technologies such as DDR4/DDR5, DIMM, LPDDR, and HBM

  • Exposure to Linux system administration and OS-level configuration (e.g. SUSE Linux or equivalent)

  • Understanding of system-level performance optimization and hardware-software interaction

  • Ability to communicate effectively and document technical information clearly
