IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure and cybersecurity . This role ensures the smooth operation of a centralized Microsoft 365 ecosystem, upholds robust security measures, manages vendor relationships, and coordinates key projects to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer the centralized Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and related services, to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with Compliance and Operational Risk teams to maintain IT policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory and security compliance requirements (e.g. MAS guidelines, PCI DSS).

• Monitor and maintain cybersecurity measures, including DLP, SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and related security tools.

• Manage IT vendors, service providers, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

• Coordinate and support infrastructure-related projects, including employee workstation deployment, office network maintenance, and system upgrades.

• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and system-related issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT management.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices, security compliance standards, and vendor management.

• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Relevant IT or cybersecurity certifications.

• Experience in integrating physical security systems with IT operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT; candidates without management experience should have held a senior technical role.

• Proven ability to work independently with strong planning and project management skills.

• Experience in maintaining and managing Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

• Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating IT initiatives and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, vendor management, and IT budgeting.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices with hands-on experience using various security tools, including DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability management systems.
