Senior Project Engineer (Data Centre, 1 Year Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from kick‑off through to completion
• Attend and contribute to site meetings and technical discussions
• Develop and track overall project schedules, ensuring milestone adherence
• Source and coordinate external vendors and subcontractors for additional project scopes
• Act as a key point of contact with customers and consultants on project progress and technical matters
• Coordinate with internal design teams to prepare and submit drawings for review and approval
• Work closely with workshop and site teams on installation, testing, commissioning, and related activities
• Prepare testing and commissioning procedures and manage on‑site coordination
• Conduct site audits and inspections to verify work quality and compliance
• Compile and finalise project documentation for handover and customer submission
• Support projects within data centre or critical facility environments, where required

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering
• Typically 5–7 years’ experience in project delivery within data centre, building services, or power generation environments
• Sound technical understanding of diesel power generation systems is strongly preferred
• Comfortable with regular site‑based work
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
• Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
