Travel Requirement: Frequent overseas travel (e.g., Thailand and other subsidiary locations)

Job Overview

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming, test cutting, and process optimisation for new product introductions as well as continuous improvement of existing production components. The role requires strong technical expertise in high-precision 5-axis machining environments and close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop NC programs for 5-axis milling, including tooling design and selection
• Program probing cycles for error-proofing, datum setting, and dimensional verification
• Optimise machining cycle time, including in-machine processes such as probing, cutting, and tool checks
• Monitor and control machining costs, including cycle time efficiency and tooling expenditure
• Support MRB (Material Review Board) team in troubleshooting non-conformance issues
• Conduct test cuts and process validation, including overseas site support when required
• Continuously improve machining processes for productivity and quality enhancement

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in 5-axis CNC programming using Mastercam
• Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining principles and machine codes
