Backend Developer

What to expect:

• Understand simulation requirements from users and develop related features and services
• Design and develop cloud services and functions to integrate simulation engines into cloud environment
• Develop simulation workflows based on user requirements
• Work with databases to manage and process simulation input

Skills preferred:

• Programming experience in any modern language (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++ etc.)
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Understanding of software development practices, linux systems and command line tools
• Understanding of simulation, modelling, or computational methods is advantageous
• Experience with any of the following is a plus: cloud platforms, HPC, workflow tools, APIs, DevOps, CFD, or 3D modelling
• Team player with good communication skills
