Fund Accountant/ Senior Fund Accountant (REIT)

My client is a well-established corporate services firm with a strong global footprint. They are looking for a Fund Accountant/ Senior Fund Accountant to join their team.

In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of real estate fund clients, owning the day-to-day relationship and ensuring all reporting deliverables are delivered accurately and on time. This includes reviewing financial statements, NAV calculations, and ad hoc client deliverables, as well as managing quarter-end processes.

Beyond client servicing, you'll working closely with back office teams to ensure work is prepared to the right standard, providing timely feedback, and helping to develop processes and efficiencies within the team.
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of real estate fund clients, serving as the primary relationship point and ensuring all reporting and administration deliverables are delivered to a high standard and on time.

You'll also work closely with supporting teams to manage workflow and contribute to ongoing process improvements across the function.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years of fund accounting or management accounting experience within the real estate sector
• Strong working knowledge of real estate fund structures, multi-currency consolidation, and property-level accounting concepts
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and managing client expectations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in a fund services or financial services environment preferred
