Regional FP&A Manager – APAC HQ & Investment Finance

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading European multinational to hire a Regional FP&A Manager to support its Asia Pacific regional headquarters finance operations and strategic investment activities.

This is a broad regional finance role combining FP&A, regional headquarters finance oversight, investment evaluation and strategic business partnering exposure across APAC.

The successful candidate will work closely with regional leadership teams to provide financial transparency, planning support, investment analysis and commercial insights to support regional growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner regional leadership teams on strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting activities across APAC
• Lead financial planning, consolidation and performance reporting for the regional headquarters entity
• Provide insights and analysis on regional operating costs, allocations and functional spending
• Drive investment planning cycles and support regional capital allocation initiatives
• Review investment proposals, business cases and financial evaluations for regional projects
• Perform scenario modelling, ROI analysis and post-investment performance tracking
• Support regional management reporting and executive presentations
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve financial decision-making
• Drive process improvements, reporting automation and financial transparency initiatives
• Participate in regional projects and strategic initiatives as finance lead or business partner

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualification
• Approximately 8–12 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, regional finance or business controlling within MNCs
• Strong exposure to regional budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Experience in investment evaluation, business case modelling or capital planning is advantageous
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to partner business stakeholders effectively
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Exposure to SAP, BI tools and data analytics platforms preferred
• Comfortable working across regional and cross-cultural environments
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
