Maintenance Assistant Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repairs and replacement of defective parts on machinery and subsea equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment and system failures and improve efficiency
• Conduct pre-deployment and post-recovery inspection, testing and servicing of equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
• Support integration, assembly, and configuration of subsea systems and equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate underwater instrumentation and navigation systems
• Maintain detailed service records, maintenance logs, and technical reports
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems
• Coordinate with external contractors or vendors when needed

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certification in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Engineer or similar role
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and 3D blueprints
• Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
