Project Engineer (1-Year Contract)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Coordination
Support and coordinate project execution activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery stages
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
Track project progress and support resolution of operational issues
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
Support project meetings and follow up on action items
Technical & Engineering Support
Review and interpret engineering documents and technical specifications, including P&ID drawings and process calculations
Ensure project deliverables meet customer and technical requirements
Coordinate with engineering teams on technical clarifications and submissions
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding material delivery timelines and documentation
Monitor procurement activities and support expediting efforts when required
Track vendor performance and escalate potential delays
Project Control & Risk Management
Support monitoring of project budgets, costs, and resource allocation
Identify project risks, issues, or deviations and assist in implementing mitigation plans
Maintain project tracking reports and status updates
Quality, Documentation & Compliance
Ensure proper documentation control and timely submission of required project documents
Support quality and compliance processes throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain accurate project records and approvals
Contract Administration & Payment Support
Assist with invoicing, milestone payment follow-ups, and project cost tracking
Support contract administration activities and documentation requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
3–5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, project coordination, or project execution
Exposure to industrial equipment, manufacturing, oil & gas, marine, or chemical industry projects will be advantageous
Familiarity with project lifecycle processes including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and delivery
Basic understanding of engineering documentation and technical specifications
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
