Infrastructure Engineer (Singaporean Only)
Job Description
Job Duties:
Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, network devices, firewalls, and backup solutions.
Install, configure, patch, and administer Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
Administer and support virtualization and container platforms, including VMware, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
Perform backup, restoration, replication, and recovery activities to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Implement infrastructure security hardening and vulnerability remediation based on CIS Benchmarks and Singapore Government security standards.
Plan, test, and deploy operating system patches, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades following established change management procedures.
Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus, and conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure operational readiness and resilience.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to design, implement, and enhance infrastructure solutions.
Maintain up-to-date SOPs, infrastructure diagrams, maintenance logs, and change records, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure administration, system support, or data center operations.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization, enterprise storage, backup solutions, firewalls, and network devices.
Familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, and other automation or DevOps tools.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
Good understanding of infrastructure security hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, or ITIL Foundation will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in a 24/7 mission-critical environment.
