Technician, Outgoing QA

Job Summary

You will perform detailed inspections of fabrication and standard parts to ensure compliance with technical drawings and work instructions, manage incoming parts logistics, and update inspection records in SAP to support quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of first article and incoming fabrication parts according to drawing requirements to ensure quality standards
• Inspect standard parts following drawing and work instruction requirements to verify conformity
• Verify Good Receive Notes (GRN) and manage the transfer of incoming parts from warehouse to Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) for proper storage and organization
• Update part inspection status accurately in the SAP system to maintain current quality records
• Execute additional inspection or quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements to conduct precise inspections
• Competent in operating Smart Scope or Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment for part inspection

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma holders with at least 2 years of relevant inspection experience
• Availability to start work on short notice
