Field Service Engineer (Gas Detector / E&I)

Responsibilities

·      Supportstart-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis onsafety and protection.

·      Performroutine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and tocarry out warranty repairs.

·      Participatein service and repair of gas detectors, safety activities, emergency response,breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.

·      Manageall orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Serviceteam.

·      Liaisonwith relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators andlogistic pertaining to queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.

·      Ensureequipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level ofefficiency.

·      Toprovide support to other service activities that may be assigned in the courseof work

·      Effectivecommunication of technical information to employees, customers and externalparties in an accurate and concise manner in both a written and verbal media.

·      Toparticipate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activitiesas per requested by the company.

Requirements

·      NTC 2 orDiploma in Electrical/Electronic/Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

·      At least 3-5years’ experience in service/engineering position in similar industry. Processinstrumentation experience is an added advantage.

·      Able to workfrom height and in confined space when required.

·      Class 3Driving license is required.
