NPI Engineer (EMS/ Server/ Rack)

Job Description

Responsibilities

·      Lead and drive all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to mass production.

·      Liaise and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory to manage product introduction activities, including packaging requirements.

·      Create, review, and modify Bill of Materials (BOM) structures for assembly processes.

·      Maintain and support Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP processes to ensure accurate production tracking and documentation.

·      Apply in-depth knowledge of server and rack assembly processes to support product development and production readiness.

·      Lead or participate in rack packaging design, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with customer standards.

·      Drive process improvement initiatives through Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.

·      Provide production support during mass production runs, resolving issues to maintain quality and efficiency.

·      Participate actively in ISO audits (internal and external), ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

·      Degree or Diploma in an Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

·      Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.

·      Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.

·      Solid projectmanagement skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
