Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Summary

You will coordinate company projects and construction works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and management instructions. You will plan and resolve site issues to maintain smooth progress, submit reports and claims, promote health and safety, and complete project handovers as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate company projects and assigned works to ensure timely and efficient execution
• Verify that construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and management instructions
• Plan and anticipate site issues to maintain smooth progress and adhere to construction schedules
• Prepare and submit progress reports, claims, and certifications, and manage payment collections
• Complete or hand over outstanding projects to management upon request or employment termination
• Ensure compliance with relevant Acts and applicable regulations on site
• Promote health and safety awareness and enforce compliance for all work carried out at the worksite
• Liaise with subcontractors’ health and safety supervisors to address safety matters related to subcontracted work
