Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled IT Infra Engineer to join a large-scale programme managing technology infrastructure across hundreds of schools in Singapore. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a multi-platform device environment that supports tens of thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
Device Management
• Manage and maintain devices across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, ChromeOS, Android) from a centralised platform.
• Set up automated device enrolment and provisioning workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Oversee device lifecycle from procurement and set up through to decommissioning.
Security & Compliance
• Implement and maintain security policies and compliance frameworks for all managed devices.
• Monitor device health and identify potential security issues across the environment.
• Transition legacy configurations to modern, cloud-based security standards.
Automation & Reporting
• Build and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor service health and device performance.
• Create self-service tools to empower end users and reduce helpdesk dependency.
Stakeholder & Operations
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Support day-to-day operations and collaborate with other teams to ensure service continuity.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist with budget planning for relevant initiatives.
What We Are Looking For
• Proven experience managing a large fleet of endpoints across multiple operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based device management platforms and related security tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience working in education or shared-device environments is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications in endpoint management or related disciplines are preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated team player with good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in contract and vendor management.
