Project Engineer (LTA Project - Construction of Cycling Path)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters related to LTA cycling path and associated infrastructure works
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with LTA specifications, company quality standards, and contractual requirements
• Plan, monitor, and track project progress, work schedule, and site activities to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities (LTA, PUB, NParks, etc.) on all project matters
• Provide timely technical and non-technical solutions to resolve site issues, with proper documentation (RFI, method statements, reports, etc.)
• Assist Project Manager in monthly progress claims, progress reports, and site documentation
• Supervise and ensure Supervisors, Foremen, and workers comply with project requirements and site instructions
• Ensure all Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), Environmental, and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to on site
• Identify and propose cost-saving measures and practical engineering solutions to improve project efficiency
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore
• Minimum 5 years of relevant LTA project experience, preferably in: Cycling path construction, Road works / drainage works OR Commuter facilities / footpath / linkway works
• Must have hands-on site execution experience
• Familiar with LTA specifications, submission processes, and site coordination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
• Knowledge of BIM / VDC will be an added advantage
• Organised, meticulous, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Candidates with immediate or short notice will have an added advantage
