Python Automation Engineer (18-Month Contract)

We are seeking a hands-on Python Automation Engineer to support the automation of business-critical workflows and reduce reliance on manual, spreadsheet-based processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based solutions to automate operational workflows
• Build and optimise data pipelines, scripts, and automation tools
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
• Work with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement automation improvements
• Integrate solutions with existing systems, databases, and reporting platforms

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Python development within enterprise environments for 5 years
• Experience in delivering automation and workflow optimisation solutions
• Familiarity with data processing, APIs, and scripting
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a dynamic environment

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Familiarity with AI or data-driven automation tools
• Experience in financial services or operational environments
