(Contract) Private Equity – Senior Fund Accountant | US Investment Firm

•Responsible in fund accounting duties specifically covering Private Equityproducts
• 6 Months Contract – Maternity Cover
• Min Degree with 3-4 years of Fund Accounting experience, ideally within thebuy side
• Experienced in Private Equity ishighly preferred!
• Basic Salary up to $ 8,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Facilitate internal and external reporting processes while coordinating with fund administrators to distribute financial reports. 
• Investor & Capital Management: Review capital calls, distribution notices, and Partner’s Capital Account Statements. 
• Fund Operations: Oversee liquidity management, including bank/custodian account openings, KYC queries, and the execution of fund-related payment transactions. 
• NAV Oversight: Review financial statements, management accounts, and quarterly NAV packages to ensure accuracy. 
• Strategic Projects: Assist with treasury and banking platform integration projects and support regulatory reporting and new fund launches.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance; Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is preferred. 
• Min 3–4+ years of fund accounting experience within the financial industry, ideally within the buy side dealing with Private Equity
• Strong background in Public Accounting (Big 4) or relevant in-house corporate experience is highly preferred. 
• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
