Structural Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete (RC), steel, and composite structures
Prepare design calculations, reports, and technical submissions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards
Coordinate with project teams to resolve design clashes and site coordination issues
Provide technical support and engineering input during design and construction phases
Review shop drawings, method statements, and construction sequences
Identify structural risks and propose mitigation measures
Ensure all structural works comply with project and regulatory requirements, maintaining proper documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in structural design or construction
Familiar with structural design software
Knowledge of Singapore building regulations
Experience in RC and steel structural design in building projects
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced construction environment
