The engineer is expected to clearly communicate complex technical concepts, evaluate design tradeoffs, and contribute to architecture and product development decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and verify analog and mixed-signal circuits for advanced memory products.
- Analyze and communicate design tradeoffs to design teams and internal customers.
- Provide feasibility and topology tradeoff assessments during architecture development.
- Perform schematic- and post-layout-level simulations to verify circuit functionality, performance, and robustness.
- Collaborate with architecture, layout, CAD, modeling, and verification teams to ensure high-quality designs.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement across future memory technology nodes.
- Collaborate with different function areas like systems, layout and digital designers among others.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field with a specialization in Microelectronics.
- Plus 2+ years of relevant experience in analog design engineering or a related occupation
- Experience in Analog and Mixed‑Signal IC design using advanced CMOS and FinFET technologies.
- Background in CMOS analog/mixed‑signal circuit design, including analysis, sizing, and optimization.
- Hands‑on experience designing Power Management and Analog IPs, such as: Bandgap and voltage/current references; Regulators (LDOs), charge pumps; CMOS amplifiers and comparators.
- Good understanding of parasitic effects, including extraction, modeling, and post‑layout verification.
- Experience with advanced semiconductor process nodes for high‑performance DRAM or memory products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in circuit simulation and verification (e.g., DC, AC, transient, corner, and Monte Carlo analyses).
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with layout, CAD, modeling, standards, and verification teams among others.
- Ability to evaluate and communicate design trade‑offs (power, performance, area, cost), while driving innovation for future memory generations.
- xperience contributing to architecture definition and early feasibility studies of analog/mixed‑signal blocks.
- Familiarity with layout‑aware design techniques to improve matching, robustness, and manufacturability.
- Experience supporting silicon bring‑up, debug, and yield optimization.
- Knowledge of reliability and variability effects (PVT, mismatch, aging).
