GIS Developer

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Lead the development and customisation of GIS applications using ESRI's

ArcGIS Enterprise platform

▪ Design and implement FME workflows for spatial data transformation and

integration

▪ Develop and maintain REST APIs for geospatial services and clash analysis using

ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise platform

▪ Optimise spatial queries and improve performance of GIS services

▪ Provide technical leadership in geospatial architecture decisions

Required Skills and Experience:

▪ At least 5 years of development experience in one of the following Geospatial areas:

o 3D Mapping

o Survey and Mapping

o Map layer management

o Global positioning

▪ Proficiency in developing and consuming REST APIs for spatial services

▪ Strong understanding of spatial databases (Oracle Spatial, PostGIS)

▪ Basic experience with Python scripting for GIS automation

▪ Knowledge of web mapping technologies and standards (OGC)

▪ Experience working in agile development environments

Technical Skills:

▪ Proficient in at least one geospatial software suite

▪ Programming: Python, JavaScript

• Relational and Spatial Databases: Oracle Spatial or PostGIS and Oracle or

MySQL or MSSQL Server

• Web Services: REST APIs, SOAP

• Version Control: GitLab or equivalent

• Spatial Analysis Tools & Data Transformation Tools
