Job Scope
Support the following areas of Site works:
- Oversee the works on equipment structures, installations, deployments, facilities and equipment being deployed at sites
- Ensure that all required site resources are promptly procured and made available at sites
- Review planned work schedule and method statements' readiness prior to site work activities
- Supervise and assist the contractor to obtain necessary clearance and approval from internal or external parties, prior to the site works
- Coordinate with various project teams, government/utility agencies or sub-contractors for the site meetings and to set up, operate and maintain the sites
- Supervise on-going works at sites to ensure compliance with regulations, by-laws and SOP
- Ensure safety rules and regulations at sites are adhered to by all site personnel
- Supervise all the site reinstatement works to ensure proper reinstatement and handover to maintenance parties by the contractors after the site works
- Resolve any unexpected problems or difficulties that may arise at sites.
Support the following areas of system testing:
Supervise and assist the contractor to obtain necessary clearance and approval from internal or external parties prior to the actual test;
Travel island-wide to perform testing during office and off-office hours (testing will be conducted at night);
Liaise with the contractor to monitor and update the testing programme and work schedule;
Liaise with the various project teams, internal and external parties, to ensure that all required resources are promptly made available for testing;
Ensure the timely submission of test data, results and reports by the contractors for analysis;
Participate in regular test review meetings and prepare meeting records; and
Support the handing over exercise on sites island-wide.
Qualifications:
Recognised Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related discipline;
At least two (2) years’ relevant experience in the area of system testing and/or managing and coordinating works on site, including the supervision of installation and maintenance of electrical equipment or civil infrastructure, and coordination with government/utility agencies and other contractors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) for Windows
Good verbal communication and writing skills
Be expected to travel daily between office and sites
Perform night work (from 9pm to 6am) based on project needs
- Good to possess Class 3 driving licence.
Contract duration: 1 year
Working Arrangement
- Monday to Thursday (8.30am to 6pm)
- Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)
Location: River Valley Rd
Salary: $2,900 per month
Transport reimbursement cap at $600 per month (subject for approval)
