Training Analyst - Contract
Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Training Analyst supports the Learning/Training Lead in designing, developing, and deploying high-impact training and performance support materials. This role works cross-functionally, collaborating with subject matter experts and multiple teams to build engaging learning experiences aligned to Wave 1 training materials and organisational goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Design & Development
• Design engaging and effective training materials that meet the needs of diverse learners, with reference to Wave 1 training materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment to business objectives.
• Develop a variety of learning assets including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and performance support tools.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Utilise participant feedback to continuously enhance training content, delivery methods, and learner experience.
• Support the development and implementation of training evaluation strategies to measure learning outcomes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate and share responsibility for team decisions, engaging with multiple teams across the organisation.
• Contribute meaningfully to key decisions regarding training strategy, design standards, and delivery approaches.
• Provide practical solutions to training-related problems for your immediate team and across multiple stakeholder groups.
Industry Awareness
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training, instructional design, and learning technology.
• Proactively identify opportunities to introduce innovative approaches to enhance programme effectiveness.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing training materials for diverse learner groups.
• Strong written communication skills with ability to simplify complex content for varied audiences.
• Proficiency in at least one learning content authoring tool (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
Desirable
• Exposure to training evaluation frameworks such as Kirkpatrick or Phillips ROI.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Experience working within large-scale change or transformation programmes.
• Understanding of visual design principles for learning content.
