Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist store-in-charge in day-to-day operations
  • Attend to customers and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Provide advice on product knowledge, brand or company related enquiries
  • Educate customers about the importance of specific foods and nutrients
  • Promote understanding of nutritional requirements and physical function
  • Provide health advice and promote healthy eating
  • Ensure merchandise display on shelves are well presented
  • Replenish products on the display shelves and counters whenever necessary
  • Upsell promotional products and/or new products to the customers
  • Carry out tagging of price tags and expiry tags on products
  • Packing and re-packing of merchandise
  • Operate cash register, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain store’s cleanliness and image
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Management

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year of experience in the same capacity within the retail environment
  • Passionate in retail, customer service orientated, sales driven and enthusiastic in promoting sustainable development to reducing plastic consumption
  • Able to commit retail operation hours
  • Able to commit on weekends, public holidays and overtime as and when required
