Assistant Engineer / Technical Officer, Plant Operation & Maintenance

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform Operation and Maintenance of wastewater treatment plants covering scope such as

1. Scheduling of maintenance of major equipment.
2. Calibration of instruments.
3. Troubleshooting of plant issues on site
4. Supervision of processes on site.
5. Perform project and operation purchasing procedures with supplier management.
6. Manage plant inventory and warehousing storage.
7. Conduct failure analysis, corrective and preventive actions on issues and problems that arise in plant operation.
8. Develop SOP/Work instructions for plant and project operations.
9. Assist in fabrication of treatment systems.
10. Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation and handle first aid and PPE inventory and usage.
11. Assist Manager in continuous improvement of project processes and operations.
12. Assist Manager in technical development of projects.
13. Supervise technicians in day-to-day operations for the plants.

Requirements

1. Minimum diploma in disciplines relating to science or engineering.
2. Preferably with 1 year of relevantworking experience in the related field.
3. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
4. Knowledge of water treatment plant operations, processes and fabrication will be an advantage.
5. Self-motivated, a good team player,hardworking & willing to learn.
6. Able to work independently on site with technicians.
7. Able to work in a fast-paced workenvironment.
8. Good in time management, problem-solving, and perform hands-on physical work.
9. Due to operational requirements, ad-hoc weekend duties may be required.
