Data Centre Head
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily data centre operations to ensure continuous uptime, reliability, and service availability.
Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Manage and monitor critical systems such as UPS, generators, cooling systems, BMS, etc.
Manage vendors and contractors
Maintain external partners to ensure seamless support and service delivery.
Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure.
Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor facility capacity and resource utilization and plan for future expansion needs.
Drive initiatives to improve energy efficiency and optimize operational costs.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data centre engineers and technicians.
Plan and manage staffing schedules to ensure smooth 24/7 operational coverage,
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and coordination with internal teams.
