Role Purpose
Accountable for the establishment, management, and growth of the German branch, with full responsibility for commercial performance and regulatory compliance in line with local and EU requirements and group strategy.
Reporting Line
Reports to EU CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Own P&L and revenue growth of the German branch.
- Define and execute local market strategy (client acquisition, partnerships, distribution).
- Build, lead, and scale local commercial and support teams.
- Ensure alignment with group product, pricing, and risk appetite.
- Act as the senior locally accountable executive vis-à-vis the German regulator and other authorities.
- Ensure full compliance with local laws, MiFID II, AML/CTF, conduct, and consumer protection rules.
- Oversee local compliance, reporting, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Implement group policies and controls; escalate regulatory or risk issues promptly.
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations and third-party relationships.
- Coordinate with group functions (Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, Product).
- Ensure robust governance, controls, and documentation.

Key Requirements:
- Senior leadership experience in a regulated financial services firm (brokerage, trading, banking, fintech).
- Strong knowledge of German financial regulation and EU regulatory frameworks.
- Proven commercial leadership with P&L ownership.
- Credible senior counterpart for regulators.
- Fluency in German and English.
