Commission Calculation & Payouts:

Own end-to-end commission calculation, validation, and payout cycles

Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness of commission payments

Build and maintain audit-ready processes and documentation

Investigate and resolve commission disputes and escalations

Compensation Plan Execution
-
Translate compensation plans (IPL) into workable logic and calculations
-
Ensure correct implementation of:
-
Tiered commission structures
-
Accelerators / decelerators
-
SPIFFs and incentives
-
Territory and quota changes
-
Governance & Controls
-
Establish strong audit and validation frameworks
-
Partner with Finance to ensure compliant processes
-
Build error detection mechanisms and exception reporting
-
Maintain version control and documentation of comp plans
-
Systems & Tools
-
Own and manage commission tools (e.g., Everstage, CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff, Excel models)
-
Improve automation and reduce manual effort
-
Ensure clean integration with Salesforce
-
Reporting & Insights
-
Deliver commission reporting and dashboards:
-
Payout trends
-
Attainment vs payout alignment
-
Burn analysis (discounts, SPIFFs, accelerators)
-
Provide insights on comp plan effectiveness and ROI
-
Stakeholder Management
-
Partner with:
-
Sales leadership (quota, incentives, disputes)
-
Finance (accruals, payouts, audit)
-
HR (plan governance, policy alignment)
-
Act as the single source of truth for all commission-related queries
-
7. Continuous Improvement
-
Identify and fix inefficiencies and error-prone areas
-
Simplify compensation structures where possible
-
Support annual comp plan design and rollout
We’d love to hear from you, if you:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Data Science, Finance, or related field from a Tier-1 / Tier-2 institution.
-
4–8+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Finance
-
Strong experience with sales compensation / commissions
-
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (must-have)
-
Experience with commission tools (Everstage, CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff) preferred
-
Strong understanding of:
-
Quotas, attainment, accelerators
-
SaaS metrics (ARR, ACV, GRR, NRR)
-
High attention to detail and accuracy mindset
Preferred Qualifications
-
Salesforce, SQL, or BI tool certifications.
-
Exposure to Revenue Intelligence platforms (Salesforce).
-
Background in business analysis or process automation in a SaaS context.
-
Experience supporting cross-functional GTM initiatives.
