Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer role for an established Asset Management company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Key individual for network support and troubleshooting (L2 and L3) for enterprise network
• Design technical solution and will work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
• Provide level 3 support, assisting with troubleshooting and design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
• Overseeing large network project implementations
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices in network technology and security.
• Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Maintaining accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Providing regular reports on network health, performance, and security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Min 3 years as senior / network lead role
• Minimum 13 years experiance in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper))
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes and perform remediation activities.
• Proven experience in network design and deployment
• Working knowledge of standard ITIL process, Incident, Change, Problem and configuration management.
• Preferred certifications such as CCIE or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent industry certifications.
• Good level of understanding in complex troubleshooting and resolving issues with clients
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven solution architecture and design experience
