Job Summary

The Corporate Secretarial Assistant manages a portfolio of locally incorporated companies, ensuring all corporate secretarial matters are accurately handled and compliance deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive corporate secretarial services for locally incorporated companies to maintain compliance and governance
  • Prepare and submit resolutions, minutes, and statutory forms to ACRA using electronic filing systems to ensure timely and accurate filings
  • Manage incorporation and striking off of companies to support client business lifecycle needs
  • Update and maintain statutory registers and minute books to ensure accurate corporate records
  • Prepare and file financial statements, XBRL, and Annual Returns via Bizfile to meet regulatory requirements
  • Obtain compliance clearance for internal onboarding and external KYC requests to support risk management
  • Monitor and ensure all ACRA filing deadlines are met to avoid penalties
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve corporate secretarial issues and improve processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and client objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a corporate secretarial firm
  • Bachelor or Diploma of Business or Law
  • Proficient computer skills to efficiently manage electronic filings and documentation
  • Strong command of written and spoken English to communicate effectively with clients and authorities
  • Positive working attitude with initiative and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
