• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of VMware vSphere private cloud environments.

• Ensure high availability and performance of virtualised systems and cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise cloud resources in line with business requirements.

• Conduct regular system updates, patches, and security enhancements.

• Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the cloud infrastructure to minimise downtime.

• Maintain technical documentation and provide training to relevant stakeholders.

• Support disaster recovery planning and execution for cloud-based systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant A successful VMware vSphere Private Cloud Engineer should have:

• Proven expertise in managing VMware vSphere environments in a professional setting.

• Strong understanding of private cloud architecture, virtualisation, and networking principles.

• Experience with system performance tuning and troubleshooting in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in financial services.
